Summer Marketing & Event Intern Character: Should be bright, creative, self-motivated, mature, good communicator, and able to get things done. What you would do: A variety of specific tasks in marketing, event planning, production, facilitation, research, and planning. You might write a press release, do online research, make calls, collaborate on planning an event, help facilitate a workshop, etc. What you get: A small stipend, skill development, and an expanded network of connections. You professional development is important and will be taken seriously. For instance, you will meet new contacts but also be shown how to build relationship with those people if you need it. For the right person, there is the possibility of building an event together or using this opportunity to incubate your business idea. Expectations: About 10hrs/week for 6 weeks.
